11th Annual Remington Arts Festival -  Schedule of Events

RAIN LOCATION: All events will are on! The Art Show and Sale will be in the Unitarian Universalist Church and the Presbyterian Church. The Horse Tours will go on until strong rain prevents the activity from continuing. The Children's Games and Dress-Up will be inside the Silas Wright House (Historical Association). The Student Art Exhibit will be in Rushton Place, as planned, and TAUNY will have their exhibit in the TAUNY Center on Main Street. The show will go on - rain or shine!

SATURDAY, September 22:          

10am-4pm - Art Show & Sale in the Park
location: Village Green Park & UU Church

A variety of high quality art and fine hand crafts for sale by regional artisans celebrating the excellence of our current North Country artists. Presented by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council and sponsored by the Canton Chamber of Commerce.

10am-4pm – Canton Letterboxing Trail
location: Village Green Park and Downtown

LETTERBOXING is an intriguing pastime combining navigational skills and rubber stamp artistry in a charming "treasure hunt" style outdoor quest. A wide variety of adventures can be found to suit all ages and experience levels.” Bring your Letterboxing kit and enjoy the Canton Letterboxing Trail. Pick up your clues at the TAUNY tent on the green.

SUNDAY, September 23:

 

9am - Remington 5k Fun Run (Walk)
location: Evergreen Cemetery

Race begins at the Remington grave site (Evergreen Cemetery) and ends at the home in which Frederic Remington was born, passing several significant historical sites along the course.

Walkers and Runners are welcome. Online registration is open September 1st. You can also register on the day of the race starting at 8am. T-Shirts for all participants.
